Spice primary workshops explore challenging concepts in an entertaining hands-on way using contemporary materials, unusual products and exciting activities.
2 hour (or to suit timetable) fun interactive workshops in your school. All relate to National Curriculum D&T guidelines and QCA schemes of work.

MATERIALS WORKSHOP
Suitable for Key Stages 1 & 2
An introduction to product analysis. Hands-on experience of traditional and contemporary materials in context using the Spice product handling collections.
POLYPROPYLENE WORKSHOP
Suitable for Key Stage 2
Choose from jewellery and accessories, containers or packaging focus. Lively design activities and exciting 3D making using a contemporary child-friendly material. Everyone takes home a product!

LIGHTING WORKSHOP
Suitable for Key Stage 2
Design and make a battery-operated light to take home using polypropylene sheet. Pupils work in teams to design a new IKEA range. Stimulating and lots of fun!
