Can I mix different courses in a workshop group?
Workshops may involve any mix of D&T areas - all participants will spend some part of the day working on their own subject area. Where the workshop produces an outcome each participant will have their own product to take home.
How many in a group?
A maximum of 35, sitting 4-6 to a table.
What type of room is required?
Workshops require a classroom with large tables suitable for group work, such as a graphics or textiles room.
Computers and interactive whiteboard are not required.
Computer rooms are not suitable.
What equipment will you need?
Workshops are practical and a class set of basic graphics equipment is required - a full list is sent on booking. Spice supplies all specialist materials free of charge.
A data projector is useful but not essential. An ordinary whiteboard or flip chart is required.

How do I book?
Email the address below stating as fully as possible what you require, including the number in the group, their year and their D&T specialism if appropriate. Please give your name, full school address and phone no, and the school start, finish and break times. Please also give 2 or 3 alternative dates.

Expenses
Travel costs and accommodation where necessary are not included and must be met by the school or college. Every effort is made to reduce these costs. Most destinations can be reached on the day and do not require an overnight stay.
Your school wil be invoiced after the workshop.
